Pouilly Loché the smallest appellation in the Mâconnais (33 hectares), The climate "Les Mures" located on a hillside, facing east, which dominates the Saône valley at an altitude of 250 meters, on the village of Loché, 5 kilometers south-east of Mâcon. Loché is a site devoted since the Romans to the vine. Excavations during the construction of the TGV station, which puts this vineyard 1 hour 40 minutes from Paris and Geneva, revealed the foundations of a large villa. Subsequently, the vine prospered under the influence of the monks of Cluny, reminiscent of the magnificent octagonal bell tower of the 12th century behind which the rocks of Solutré and Vergisson stand out. Discreet, fine, precise aromas of very ripe yellow fruits. The wine is dense, with a beautiful fleshy fruitiness and a minty, fresh finish.
