Morgon Bio Les Charmes Frédéric Sornin

Description

Red
Powerful & Structured
When I bought this plot, the old vines were in the process of being converted to organic farming and I was keen to have them certified organic. For this cuvée, I opted for early bottling to preserve all the fruit. This plot runs alongside the Roman road that linked Lugdunum to Cluny. This historic terroir has undoubtedly seen Romans passing through, carrying their wines in amphorae. It is not uncommon to find Roman artefacts whilst working the land. I bought this plot in particular for its perfect exposure and because it most closely reflects the very essence of the Morgon terroir.
