Traditionally craftsmen of Gamay, the Fellot family wanted to vinify Chardonnay. On the clay-limestone soils located south of Beaujolais, Emmanuel Fellot succeeds in bringing together freshness, fruit and minerality. Location: “La Croix du Bois”. Type of soil: clay-limestone, fossil stones, golden stone, shallow soil. Altitude: 351m. Exposure: South-East. Viticulture: Reasoned control, partial grass cover. Vinification: Long fermentation. Ageing: 1 year in oak barrels (1 to 8 wines).
