Just one word to describe this terroir: MAGICAL! These vineyard plots hold symbolic significance for me, as this is the land of my ancestors, and I feel very fortunate to be able to cultivate them.
But it is also the unique subsoil that gives the wine a distinct minerality. And then there is the Côte du Py, that little hill visible from afar, with its oak tree overlooking the Beaujolais. It is a pleasure to work there, and sometimes, when the weather is on our side, we are lucky enough to enjoy a beautiful view of the Alps and even Mont Blanc.
